Days of Noah: Pew: Every TV News Outlet Had Coverage Supportive of Same-Sex Marriage

new survey from Pew’s Project For Excellence in Journalism examines the coverage of gay marriage among the media. The big takeaway: almost every outlet presented more supportive statements in favor of gay marriage than opposing statements against gay marriage, includingevery TV news outlet.
Pew looked at every segment on gay marriage from March 18-May 12, and classified every statement made on the issue as being supportive of gay marriage, opposed to gay marriage or neutral.
As a whole, the network morning shows presented 44 statements in favor of gay marriage, none opposed, and 56 neutral. The network evening newscasts presented 46 statements in favor of gay marriage, none opposed, and 54 neutral. Each cable news channel was broken down individually. Given the three very different programming strategies of the channels, it was an interesting move, as all three presented far more supporting arguments than opposing arguments:

From the Desk of Pastor Marcos:
Christians are going to have to make a decision on whether the Word of God is right on this matter or the News. Many I have met in recent days agree with the News. I will continue to stand by the Word of God even if I am the last one doing so. One person standing with God is a majority.

This Photo of a Bride & Groom Before Their Wedding Will Give You Goosebumps

This photo of a bride and groom taking a moment to pray

before tying the knot is enough to make your heart melt, and

then some. Bre and Josh Curtas say it was important to take

a minute and count their blessings before walking down the

aisle … without the Marine seeing his lovely bride in her

wedding gown, of course.

From the Desk of Pastor Marcos:

Marriage that God honors and a couple that honors God. This is as it should be. Progressives, leftists, democrats, Obama, Homosexual activists will never fully understand the union between a man and a woman being symbolic of Christ and His Bride. That's why it's a Holy Union Consecrated unto Him.

What the Word of God Says About Traditional Marriage and Same Sex Marriage

This was originally motivated in 2012 with President Obama expressing his personal position in favor of gay marriage. This is an unapologetic defense of traditionalmarriageIn the election of 2012 many Christians tossed aside God's Word on this subject just to elect America’s first black president. When they had a chance to take a stand for truth and be a light that shined on the narrow path instead they chose to lead the country down the wide path that leads to destruction and for that they will be held accountable for their vote. They must repent and turn back to the Truth of God's Word.

In view of all the lies apostate churches, politicians and the media are spreading let's take a look at what God has to say about Traditional Marriage.

Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Genesis 2: 22Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man....

Genesis 2:24  For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Traditional marriage — one man and one woman — was God's first human institution. Even before civil government and the church.

Traditional marriage is a high priority to God.  Marriage vows should reflect God's pattern — “a MAN ... [and] his WIFE” (Gen. 2:24), not two men or two women!

Genesis 1:27-28a, KJV So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; MALE and FEMALE created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be FRUITFUL, and MULTIPLY, and replenish the earth, and subdue it...

[NIV] “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth.”

Multiplication requires a man and a woman. Male and female created He them.”  But He didn’t make them just any “male and female”. No, but rather “a man ... [and] his WIFE” (Gen. 2:24)Traditional marriage vows properly (and biblically) use expressions such as "man and woman orhusband and wife."

Proverbs 1:8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.

Proverbs 6:20 My son, keep your father’s commands & do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

God intends Dads and Moms to raise and train children in the ways of God. Can it be done without both a father a mother? Yes, — for example, Timothy’s Mom and grandmother (Acts 16:1; 2 Timothy 1:5). But it is done best by a believing Dad and Mom. Recent studies prove that the missing ingredients of either a Mom or Dad has lasting effects on children.

Isaiah 62:5 As a young man MARRIES a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

Traditional marriage, a man marrying a woman, is aparallel to God and His people. Christ = Husband ... Church = Christ's called Bride.

Proverbs 18:22, KJV Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

A man finding and marrying a wife is a way of receiving theFAVOR of the LORD!  Genesis 24 contains the beautiful story of Rebekah being found for Isaac, by the Lord’s guidance of the servant.

1 Corinthians 7:1-2 Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry. [2] But since there is so much IMMORALITY, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.

Marriage of a man and a woman is an antidote to immorality, which is increasingly relevant in this immoral age. And note again that each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband [vs. 2] — this is a clear biblical stand for traditional marriage and against same sexmarriage.

1 Timothy 3:1-2, 12  Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife....

1 Timothy 3:12   A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.

Married elders, deacons = part of stable leadership in the church.

• Proven ability to maintain a relationship.

• Proven ability to show himself faithful.

• Proven ability to influence others for good, as evidenced in his own godly children.

1 Timothy 5:14, KJV I will therefore that the younger women MARRY, bear children, guide the house

This a positive encouragement [in context, to younger widows] to marry, bear children... Lacking a gift and call to celibacy, the prevailing pattern is traditional marriage — marry, bear children...Traditional marriage has served all nations and all cultures well since the Garden of Eden!

For those who say that Yeshua (Jesus) never spoke into this issue I submitt the following scripture:

Matthew 19:4-6 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ [5] and said, ‘For this reason a MAN will leave his father and mother and be united to his WIFE, and the two will become one flesh’? [6] So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what GOD has JOINED together, let man not separate.”

Jesus strongly endorsed traditional marriage — “a man...his wife.” Jesus said that God the CREATOR had established marriage. Jesus said that God established marriage for “a MAN ... [and] his WIFE.” And Jesus said that it is GOD Himself who JOINS the man and his wife in marriage. Gay marriage is a direct contradiction to Jesus' definition of marriage.

Therefore we Christians, we who believe the Bible, should be vigorously defending the sanctity of traditional Christian marriage between one man and one woman. We also need to take a stand when the leadership of this nation and the media attempts to cloud this issue. The truth of God’s Word has set this nation free in the past and it can again as long a Believers stand upon it and shine it’s light to dissipate the darkness of lies now blanketing the nation.
